Banff with Liz and Kjetil

The views were fantastic.




On our trip to Banff we went up Sulphur Mountain and Liz and Kjetil went to the Hot Springs. We set off to walk to these places but as usual on this trip everything is accessed by car so Alistair went back to retrieve the car. This was to be a common theme on this trip........driving to places when we would have preferred to walk.
In Calgary when I enquired for the nearest post office the "meeter and greeter" in the one supermarket told me to drive to the next door shopping mall. I could see even see where she was directing me but there was no route to walk there.
Comes of having so much space in such a big country!
