Old Faithful Geyser

We had our evening meal in the Old Faithful Ski Lodge and as usual the portions were so huge we could have shared one meal between the two of us. Unfortunately our Yorkshire heritage does mean we eat too much rather than waste food.
Finally it is all systems go and I was surprised how long the eruption lasted.
Evidently the geyser has lots of little spurts before actually putting on the full show.
Everyone was clicking away with their cameras just in case this was the big one.

It is seven in the evening and we are waiting for Old Faithful to put on a show.

This is the first time we have seen a crowd of people since entering the park.
