After the Canadian trip life had settled back into our autumn routines involving dancing and film society for both of us. Alistair also plays bridge and tennis and I have my literature course and aerobics.

Then Kate, Malcolm and Isabella made the move from New York to Paris and came to visit us in the UK. Once their furniture had arrived from the States we went to visit them in Paris.
