Liz and Kjetil

Our trip to Stavanger was to spend some time with Alistair's daughter and her partner Kjetil.

Here is their summer home at Skeie and the nearly finished nail tent. A nail tent is what they call the wooden extension annexe to the caravan.
The caravan is on a pretty site with a delightful beach.
In the winter they will be living in the Station House at Brussand. It was fun getting off the train and seeing Liz waving down form the bedroom window.

Liz and Kjetil took us out to visit one of their favourite spots...a stone age village within sight of the sea on one side and a lake on the other side.

I am standing next to a marker for a princess' grave on top of a hill with a lovely view of the coastline. The beaches were beautiful and exhilarating but it was not the time of year to sunbathe!
