A trip up the Lyserfjord
A trip to Norway has to include a cruise up a fjord and here we are waiting for the boat to leave the harbour.
On the way out we passed under a bridge carrying the road north across small islands and bridges until you have to take a ferry.

Later in the week we walked across the bridge and had wonderful views looking over Stavanger
The square shaped rock in the middle is called Prekestolen (Pulpit rock). It is perfectly flat and about 25 metres square. We had intended to climb to the top and stand on it but we were too late in the season for this trip. Further along the fjord we came to this waterfall and water was collected for the passengers to try. I enjoyed my sample, cold and fresh tasting........Alistair is trying to decide.
