United Nations Lunch

Today we enjoyed a family lunch with 3 British, 2 Japanese and 1 German adult plus one dual nationality child. We are pictured below wondering when the remote on the camera will flash.

Nicholas' partner Michie is Japanese and her sister Satchiko was visiting from Germany where she lives with husband Frank and daughter Sophie-meo. Nicholas and Michie (sitting bottom right with big grins) are expecting their first child towards the end of December.


Kate gave birth to my first grandchild in New York, and had Sebastian in Paris and it is going to be nice to have a grandchild (we know it's a girl) born in Macclesfield.
