Geneva and Granchildren
I am back from a busy few days in Geneva. I flew out from Liverpool on Saturday to help Kate and Malcolm settle into to their new home in Geneva. Sunday was a beautiful, warm sunny day. I took Isabella and Sebastian out for a morning walk round the village to look for a playground. Their red buggy with Isabella up front and Sebastian behind was much admired by the local residents. We found a babbling brook, lots of water fountains, some goats with bells and babies but everytime Isabella pointed out a climbing frame or swings it turned out to be in someone's garden. Used to the communal delights of the Champs de Mars she was finding the concept of private property difficult to understand.
Fortunately we did find a playground at the International school where she could climb and explore. My photo does not show the beautiful snow covered mountains in the background. By the time I had pushed the stroller back home I appreciated why Kate does not feel the need to work out!
Nicholas. Michie and Marisa called at the big yellow house on their way back from ski-ing in France and on their way to visit Michie's sister and family in Germany. Here Nicholas demonstrates ball control to Isabella.
