Birthday Lunch

For my birthday Nicholas and Michie took us to the Highwayman pub, on the road to Whalley Bridge, for Sunday lunch. Here we are deciding what we are going to eat. The food was superb, we shall certainly be going there again to try some of the other items on the menu. On my actual birthday, we had a European day, when Alistair and I went into Manchester to see a French film at the Cornerhouse and came back to a Tapas bar in Macclesfield for our meal. No photos of this trip which is just as well; as on the return journey I leapt onto the train, caught my foot on the step and fell into the carriage! No injuries but I did feel foolish...must remember I am now a year older.
