Up and up to the park above the lake

Young children start the day early so on Sunday everyone was ready to go out by 10.00am. (At home I am often to be found still reading the papers in bed at this time and thinking of a second cup of coffee). Kate drove us up a winding road to an attractive park with animals, play equipment and excellent facilities. No charge for entry or parking.

First we visited the animals. Nanna demonstrated how to make friends with one of the goats.

The new litter of piglets was a very popular attraction.

Next it was the play equipment. Isabella and Sebastian had their turn and then the grown ups found some equipment marked for adolescents!!

After that we had our photo overlooking lake before going in for lunch. We could just make out the Jet d'Eau in Geneva harbour but more of that in the next entry. Inside there was an excellent choice of food and places to sit inside or out but Isabella chose to play in the indoor facility first.

Here she is taking a break and watching Sebastian having his lunch.

After lunch Isabella chose to play chase and hide in the concret maze where she squeeled with delight. Earlier she had been very adventurous crawling through concrete pipes. This must be the some of the oldest equipment in the park but it still provide lots of fun.
