Butterflies and goodbye Norway
We visited a Butterfly House which was a first for me. Butterfly experiences had not appealed to me previously but I found the visit fascinating. We walked into the butterfly house where there were masses of large blue, black and white, black and red and orange butterflies flying over and around you as we walked about.
In the picture Alistair should be surrounded by a cloud of large, brilliant blue butterflies but as they were constantly on the move it proved impossible with a digital camera to capture a still picture. The blur near his hand was the nearest I got. Instead I made a series of short movie clips to remind me of the visit.

The view from the ferry as we left Stavanger in the early evening to travel through some exciting and bumpy weather on the way back to Newcastle.
