Work in progress

Work on the kitchen refurb is continuing when other activities allow. The electrician has finished the first stage of his work. We have made two of the four trips needed to Ikea. After a trip to Ikea Alistair needs a recovery period!!

We did the the sandwich corner first as a trial run. This looks fine so we moved onto another area.

Alistair took down the existing wall cupboards and here we have me doing the final scrape after removing the tiles on the back wall.

Alistair was then able to put up the wall cupboards. His do-it yourself skills are admired by my friends and by our neighbour; who I now suspect is giving her husband some earache. However I must make it clear..... Alistair is not available for loan.



Next week we plan
to finalise the choice
of floor finish and
start on the floor
cupboards.
