Cousin Jean from Arizona

Alistair's cousin Jean came to stay. She has spent most of her working life in Saudi but now lives in Arizona. The guest bedroom had been occupied over the weekend by Marisa whilst Nick and Michie moved house but after her lunchtime nap we quickly collapsed the cot and made things ready for our next guest.

Whilst Jean was staying with us Alistair drove her over to visit his sister in Boston Spa where they met Gill's youngest grandson, Billy who was also visiting. His older brothers are Freddy and Charlie.

Then it was a trip down memory lane as Alistair drove home via Bradford and they visited the houses where they were born. In Jean's case the present owners remembered the people who had bought the house when Jean's family moved away.

After this busy day Jean insisted on taking us out for a meal. (My turn to drive so the others could enjoy the wine).





Alistair had forgotten his glasses so he borrowed Jean's to read the menu...think he looks rather fetching in the multi-coloured option....
