Isabella and Sebastian come to stay

Isabella and Sebastian came to stay in Macclesfield whilst Kate and Malcolm went to a wedding in London.  When Marisa came to visit on Friday afternoon she was suprised to find some little people in what she considered her space.   However her cousin Isabella won her round by sharing her new hair decorations.  The morning had seen a visit to the library followed by haircuts for Kate and children followed by a toyshop visit.  In the toyshop Malcolm got carried away with a very large remote control dinosaur which he made roar and rumble round the shop.   Kate and Malcolm even managed to pack in some serious shopping  as well.

Then it was time to put up the playhouses and connecting tunnel.  Normally this is a garden toy but sometimes it moves inside. The three of them had fun once Marisa realised it was good to join in the game.

On Saturday morning we were all up bright and early for a visit to Tittesworth reservoir where there is a well laid out playground.  Nicholas, Michie and Marisa were there first.  I thought the variety of climbing frames and platforms would be favourite but it was the sand pit that claimed the attention of all three children.  Fortunately Alistair had put the sand toys from our trip to the seaside in the car.

There are more pictures of this visit on Nicholas and Michies's blog at

After a shared lunch in the cafe it was back home for Sebastian's nap whilst Isabella went to visit Granny and Grandad.  (Malcolm's parents live a five minute walk away which is very useful)
I took Sebastian round when he woke up and I went home for a quiet cup of coffee!
