Stockley Farm
I had heard of Stockley Farm and even sent school parties there when I was working but had not actually been myself. Now I have a granddaughter who lives nearby so I thought it was time for a visit. Michie wasn't working so she was able to come with us.
To get from the car park to the farm involves a trailer ride and here we have Michie and Marisa sitting on a straw bale for a bumpy ride.
Last time I had taken Marisa to a farm she was very keen to get as close as possible to all the animals. Now she is older she has become much more wary.
Here she is waving goodbye to the calves to indicate she wants to leave immediately and go to the sandpit which is her favourite outdoor activity at the moment
Now it would have been best for a little person to take the shovel with the shorter handle but no Nanna could have that one as Marisa needed the big one.
Mummy demonstrates how to operate the digger /shovel.
I haven't tried that one yet.............Time for the indoor play area with a large wall jigsaw and a chat with Bob the builder.
Finally we had to go on the tractor ride back to the car park.
A tired little girl waves bye bye.
