Christmas Day

As I said in the last post Alistair played tennis in the morning of Christmas Day.  Then we had Barrie and Margaret (old friends who spend nearly six months in Los Gigantes every winter) for pre lunch drinks on the terrace.

Then it was a meander down the hill to join up with Hans and Sybilla for Christmas lunch in a favourite fish restaurant.  Hans and Sybilla are friends of Barrie and Margaret and they have left the Netherlands and have made Los Gigantes their permanent home.

The happy party about to choose from the moth watering menu.

Now some of the party did choose the special Christmas day menu of Turkey etc. which they said was very good.

However I opted for the sea bass (see below).
It tasted as good as it looked.
Score.... A+ for presentation and A++ for taste.

At the end of a very convivial afternoon we slowly meandered back up the hill by the scenic route enjoying the sunshine and sea below the cliffs.
