Room on the Broom

After the success of the trip to see "The Night Garden" in Liverpool our next venture was nearer home.  The new versatile theatre space in the Pavilion at Buxton was hosting the touring production of "Room on the Broom"  I bought Marisa the book so she was very familiar with the story before we went.  Cameras were not allowed this time so here is a picture of Michie and Marisa waiting for the show to begin.

After the performance we went for a walk in the Pavilion Gardens.  At the weekend a small train runs round the gardens and Marisa soon spotted it.

So tickets were bought for a trip on the train.......

Then there was just time for a short play in the children's playground before we headed for home and Nanna made a poster to remind Marisa of her trip. 

"Room on the Broom" has remained one of her favourite stories and she still links the dragon with the dragon we saw in the Buxton production.
