Marisa loves baking... weighing is not considered much fun but she loves adding ingredients to her bowl....

She is good at mixing......

........sorting out the bun cases no problem

However getting the mixture into said bun cases not so easy

She is still at the stage when washing up is part of the fun.

This is Marisa testing if the buns are cool enough to taste.

She loves the eating part.....preferring a plain bun to a decorated one.  Recently her pre-school ran the cake stall at the church Christmas fair and we made a batch of buns that she iced with simple pictures.  She chose the best pictures to give to mummy, to daddy and one to grandpa when I wanted to them to have the mistakes.  The remainder I put in a box to take to pre-school explaining they were going to sell them.  She cried at this information so I just put them on the back seat of the car anyway.  When we got to pre-school there were only 11 buns in the box where there had been 12!  After the earlier tears I decided not to ask any questions and just put the box on the piano with all the other cakes.
