Haircut

This week Michie asked me to take Marisa for a haircut.  Prior to this Marisa had just had her fringe trimmed and her hair allowed to grow long so that there was enough to put up for the ceremony in Japan but now Michie wanted something more manageable and so this was to be her first proper haircut.
I checked with both Nicholas and Michie what they would like and naturally there were two opinions.  Nicholas wanted really short but I could tell Michie was not as keen.  Here is the road to her first haircut.


As a baby Marisa was born with an abundance of dark hair .............

Early days

Mummy thinks she might trim my fringe

Mummy has fastened my hair back

Nanna tried out plaits

Mummy says something must be done

 In the end I decided to ask the hairdresser for a bob and here is the result.

As she had been very good at the hairdressers she was allowed chocolate pudding and custard for lunch.
