Blaze Farm in Wildboarclough - now starring in the latest Hovis TV advert!

A trip to the ice cream farm is always enjoyed but at lambing time there are special treats.  The first time we decided to go we were stopped at the top of the lane as the farm was being used for the filming of a tv advert.  We were given some vouchers for a future visit and ended up in Macclesfield's West Park play area instead.  However a week or two later all was well.  We got to hold the new lambs; or at least I did as Marisa was not sure about having the lamb on her knee.  

 

It was a different story with the grey kitten.  Marisa first held this animal when it was a little kitten  and she likes to check on it every visit she makes.  This time she had to sit down in order to hold the cat as it has grown considerably over the winter. 

Grandpa and Marisa go exploring to look for the ducks and babies.......

Her favourite place on this visit to which she returned several times was the big  tank of clear, cool water in the farmyard .
