One House Nursery Sculpture Trail
Yesterday was a sunny Sunday when my friend Dian came for lunch so afterwards we went to walk round a local sculpture trail just outside Macclesfield on the Buxton road. I had not visited the site before but it was fascinating. It is only open for two weeks as the nursery is no longer open as a business but the owner is restoring the Victorian garden there with the help of volunteers. It was a lovely visit with excellent home made tea and cakes which we enjoyed sitting in the sun looking out over extensive hill views .
There was a wide variety of sculptures using different media which I did not photograph and Alistair bought me a piece for the garden as an early birthday present. It consists of three leaf shaped mosaic pieces in green and mirrored glass. They have to be collected when the exhibition closes. Then I can have fun deciding where to put them in the garden.
Would you Adam and Eve it?

In the Victorian walled vegetable garden we found the flowers made at Marisa's pre-school.
Lots of glue and glitter.............................
and just for fun.....
