Second seaside visit to Colwyn Bay
Another day of good weather arrived so we packed up and set off for "our" beach in Colwyn Bay. This time there was lots more sand as the tide was out so there was lots of time to build and decorate the main castle
and then the finished edifice.........
There was also time to do giant writing in the sand and build castles and channels near to the incoming tide so we could watch them being washed away. As we had brought lots of food we were able to spend the whole day on the beach.

Of course a visit to the seaside would not be complete without an ice-cream. Grandpa was in charge at the ice cream kiosk and Marisa was able to persuade him she really needed a Magnum. This is Grandpa's favourite ice cream as well.
Scarborough on the North Yorkshire coast was the seaside where my brother and I were taken by our parents. I even have photographs of my own three on the same coast.
We hope to take Marisa back to Colwyn Bay lots of times over the next few summers so that she stores up happy memories of her seaside visits to Wales.
