Christmas Day
On Christmas Day morning there is a local tradition in Bollington of walking up a hill to the ridge where there is a landmark folly called White Nancy. We have often said we would join in this tradition and this year we actually made it. Nick and family were staying in Switzerland with Kate and family so off we went.

The brass band plays and carols are sung before everyone troops down for their lunch.
We met up with friends Reg and Margaret and they had had the foresight to bring champagne so the day was off to a good start.
